Hero, a Hero chaos chao, and Darkness, a Dark chaos chao. The story revolves around these two chao and thier differences. It was an idea inspired by Sonic Adventure 2: Battle when I raised the chao. It has been awhile since then, though. Now, it is a very real game. It is like all RPGs in general, but has its tweaks as well. Read on to find out more. --------------------------------------------------------------- II Controls SPACE bar: Scroll through text, select event/talk Arrow keys: move your character, scroll through menus, etc. C key: Open/close menu N key: Open/close menu --------------------------------------------------------------- II.I Game Play The game play is basicly a standard RPG games. Minor cast Crazy Hero chao Cackletta ---------------------------------------------------------------- IV The Walkthrough -------The Hero Garden------------------------------------------ After starting the game, go up and turn left. Look at the scenary if you will, then proceed down the steps. If you want, talk to Ghor, who will inform you of a Hero Chao's missing wallet. Make a left and keep going past the platform with the Grand Piano untill you run into a Golden Sonic chao. Talk to him before proceeding down. Go ahead and speak to the Hero Chao to your left to get a Crystal he once used as his "Charm". Then, you should find a wandering Hero Chao. Speak to her to listen to her rambling about her lost wallet. Agree to help her find it, then walk up to the Piano. If you play it, a Piano arrangment of "Fukai Mori(4th ending)" from Inuyasha, the popular Anime will play. Go behind the Piano to find the wallet. Return it to the Hero Chao, and you get Golden Rod's paycheck. Talk to Golden Rod again, then go down to the Dark Chao sitting in the Chair. Watch the cutscene, and that's the last you'll see of the Hero Garden for awhile. -------Heaven------------------------------------------------- When you wake up, Hero will see someone coming in the distance. A cutscene will then trigger, and Hero will meet Carol "Kelvin" Chao, an intellegent, but naive chao. After the cutscene, continue going straight down to find the next biggest part in your Adventure: The World Hub. -------The World Hub------------------------------------------ Go down the crystal pathway into the grassy land ahead. Take a look around. Don't bother going left yet, because you can not enter this level yet. Go down and to the left to enter the next level; your first level, Skyward Scrappers. But first, go down and to the right, and turn on the curving road to the next area. As you can see, there is a Dock, which leads to the famous S.S. Shipwreck, run by the notorious Delirious Knuckles Chao. But, for now, go back up to the entrance to Skyward Scrappers. -------Skyward Scrappers-------------------------------------- When you first enter Skyward Scrappers, you'd probably be thinking something like,"Not very Skyward," or,"Not very Scrappy." You'll notice the big Dark Chao head with Eye engraved stone in the center adds an interesting touch to your first level. Search the trees, or rather, shake them. Something may just come out. When you are ready, continue to the next area. In this next area, you will find a sign that says nothing(weird, huh?) and a bunch of trees surrounding a long, fence-bordered dirt path. Don't go in beetween the fence, or you will run into an unfortunate dead-end, revealing that you must go around the southern end of the fence and through the open gap that is clearly visible from the dead-end. Continue to climb up the towering "L" shaped path to find the next area. Now, you'll find out exactly why the level got it's name. You will end up on a fat, blocky area which will eventually shorten up as you climb the winding road which will continue for quite a long time. Not much to see here except for the clean, cut grass and the beautifully craft cloud-filled sky. Go up the path into the next area. I'd take advantage of the enemies' absense, because this will be the only level without them. Although still windy, this next road is rather zig-zaging along. As before, use the same, simple minded stratagy of going up and to the next area. If you look at it this way, this area looks kind of like a lopsided Question mark. Though you can't actually get on it, you can take your sweet time staring at the ledge to your left. This next area almost mirrors itself from down to up, and if you are paying any attention to the music(you don't have to now if you are reading this guide) you'll find it's getting more and ever more quiet as you tower up this huge winding pathway. By now, all you should hear in this next area is the whistling of the wind. The sky should also be darker then normal. Walk up the rather straight path(finally!). The sky is now pitch-black as you enter this next area. Right when you walk in, a cutscene will trigger, as well as many times during your trip(as you should know by now.) Watch the cutscene, then head towards the Dark Chao in beetween the two trees, and press the action key(SPACE bar.) It is now time for your first boss battle. -----BOSS: DARK CHAO BROTHERS(I)---------------------------- Don't fret! These guys are the easiest bosse's you will ever fight. They only have two main attacks, and they have their own special attack, depending on the Brother. They usually use Attack or Black Magic, or they might pull out their special moves. Just wait untill it is your turn to attack, and mash on that SPACE bar! Since you most likely won't have any magic, just stick to regular attacks with both Hero and Carol. Eventually, they will all go down. Just keep cool, because it won't take forever. After the battle, watch them whine about their injuries. -------Skyward Scrappers------------------------------------ After the battle, you will obtain your first "Thingy". Now, all you have to do is go all the way around the curved road the Dark Chao Bros. were blocking, then go down the second straight path next to the one you went up before fight them. Then, go right to get out of this level. Phew! Once back in the World Hub, equip your thingy, and head up to the next level, the Forbiden Forest.
